If you have not conceived after attempting pregnancy for 12 months, an infertility evaluation is indicated. If you are older than 35 years or have other concerns like irregular periods, please consider an earlier evaluation. Your Ob-Gyn physician can offer certain exams and tests to try to determine the cause. Infertility can often be treated successfully even if no cause is found. We can also help refer you to an infertility specialist (REI: Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility physician) if needed.
